March 07 Goodbye Linkin Park Tickets - Hello mini-patrick.Ok, This weekend I had to make a huge sacrifice. I’ve wanted to attend the Linkin Park concert at the E-center forever, they are my all-time favorite band, and finally I have my chance, my wife even gave me the go ahead to purchase tickets. But I’ve decided that this weight loss thing, is just too important. Instead of going to linkin park, I am going to buy a membership to the gym. I don’t think I can really get very far unless I workout stringently 3-4 times a week. I figure all the money I make when I reach 250 lbs, I can fly anywhere in the USA and see them live, on their next round of concerts. This is just too important. I’m sometimes not the best at making sacrifices for myself or others. But this is one time I’m going to do the right thing, and take my life to the next level. Arm Rests suck! Why I hate chairs with Arm Rests.For a fat guy, arm rests are probably the make or break you. You can’t make it through life without sitting. Most places you go - dr’s offices, work, movies, etc have arm rests, and if you’re big enough it can really put some grooves in the flub. At work, I unbolted the arm rests from my chair so I could be comfortable. Fat Guy Unleashed, wrote a nifty post about being able to fit in the chairs on an airplane. Right now, I don’t think I could even buy 1 ticket and get on a plane, I may actually have to buy 2 just for me, which is quite embarrassing, and I don’t really have the month to buy the tickets anyhow - but it would be nice to be able to travel someday. I’d also like to be able to ride scary rollercoasters again, I miss going to amusement parks. I also love Imax theatre and the only one around here that’s worth going to - has seats that I can’t fit in comfortably.
