Goodbye Linkin Park Tickets - Hello mini-patrick.

Ok, This weekend I had to make a huge sacrifice. I’ve wanted to attend the Linkin Park concert at the E-center forever, they are my all-time favorite band, and finally I have my chance, my wife even gave me the go ahead to purchase tickets.

But I’ve decided that this weight loss thing, is just too important. Instead of going to linkin park, I am going to buy a membership to the gym.

I don’t think I can really get very far unless I workout stringently 3-4 times a week. I figure all the money I make when I reach 250 lbs, I can fly anywhere in the USA and see them live, on their next round of concerts.

This is just too important. I’m sometimes not the best at making sacrifices for myself or others. But this is one time I’m going to do the right thing, and take my life to the next level.

Arm Rests suck! Why I hate chairs with Arm Rests.

For a fat guy, arm rests are probably the make or break you. You can’t make it through life without sitting. Most places you go - dr’s offices, work, movies, etc have arm rests, and if you’re big enough it can really put some grooves in the flub. At work, I unbolted the arm rests from my chair so I could be comfortable.

Fat Guy Unleashed, wrote a nifty post about being able to fit in the chairs on an airplane. Right now, I don’t think I could even buy 1 ticket and get on a plane, I may actually have to buy 2 just for me, which is quite embarrassing, and I don’t really have the month to buy the tickets anyhow  - but it would be nice to be able to travel someday.

I’d also like to be able to ride scary rollercoasters again, I miss going to amusement parks. I also love Imax theatre and the only one around here that’s worth going to - has seats that I can’t fit in comfortably.

This is just one of many motivations that I have to lose weight…

Making money, Losing Weight, and Changing lives.

This site, isn’t just about my weight loss struggle. That’s a huge part of it - but it’s also my struggle to get out of debt, and be able to buy a house.

Along the same lines, I’m also trying to trade or barter my way into a house. I have a nice, cute pair of Fuzzy Baby Slippers, and I’m looking to trade them for something bigger and better, eventually, hopefully, I will be able to make enough trades, to be able to trade for a house, following the footsteps of that one dude who traded one red paper clip for a house.

The point of this site is to build up a support network of people watching to see if I can succeed at losing weight. So far I’ve lost about 20 lbs. Not a lot, but its a start. I’m always of course finding that it is a hard struggle. Currently I am working on submitting an audition tape / application to appear on the Biggest Loser with my wife, she weighs 220, and doesn’t have as much to lose, but I have more than enough, it would be nice to be able to lose it together.

We are also wanting to eventually go through in-vitro fertilization, if we still are unable to conceive after losing weight. That costs a lot of money, and we are also looking into adoption. Both are costly, but we really would like to start our family. The money we earn here both in advertising, donations, sponsorships, etc would be extremely appreciated. Please check out our advertising page for more information. I’m very flexible on advertising, and any ads you buy here will also be put up on a PR3 site @ www.blogcontestsite.com  and my bartering site: http://twofuzzyslippers.blogspot.com.

It is definitely a great deal. The thing I personally am proud of with my site, is that is not just another ‘Making money’ blog, which are a dime a dozen. This is about a lot more, and I appreciate all my readers, and the comments I’ve gotten on the blog, as well as in facebook, myspace, xanga, and livespaces.

Down and out due to Pneumonia / Lack of Cash.

Losing weight is definitely hard. There’s no question about that. It’s twice as hard when you’re bed ridden for a week, because 90% of your left lung is full of fluid,  and you are on oxygen.

Thankfully, I am over that. It also stinks being broke, and we had our internet shut off, I’m currently blogging from work and a library, it’s not the easiest thing to do.

Rent is our highest priority, then food, then heat, medical, and gas, and with me out of work for a few weeks it’s a bit of a struggle.

I am thankful for all your concerns, and worries this past few weeks, I’ve gotten a lot of emails from concerned readers for not writing.

I’m still looking for a healthclub to sponsor me, so that I can amp up my fitness program. I’d also love a fitness trainer, some home equipment etc.

I’m pretty excited though,  the ad revenue from my blogs reached $9 for the month of February - that is an all time high, and I’m almost able to cash out from Google (after 2 years lol). Bout damn TIME!.
